Ramsay Fabrics, Inc. has been a leading supplier of woven textiles for over 80 years. Ramsay, in partnership with Juniata Fabrics, Inc. of Altoona, Pa., has become a leading U.S. producer of specialty air jet fabrics. The company now serves a wide range of industrial and consumer markets, including aerospace, medical, process, home furnishings, and specialty apparel.

The company’s extensive line includes products made of nylon, polyester, acetate, cotton, rayon, and blends. In addition to weaving, dyeing and finishing services are available. For certain applications, Juniata can also supply complete vertical “packages,” including coating and slitting to specified widths. Because of the company’s width capabilities, this is often a cost-effective alternative to internal slitting operations.

Ramsay Fabrics is owned and managed by John Shulman, who represents the third generation of his family to head the firm. Other key employees add more than 100 years of textile experience, with several serving regularly as arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association. Juniata Fabrics is an employee-owned company, with over 70 years of service to a variety of trades.
